Vienna Mayor Jon Simmons Laid to Rest

Vienna Mayor Jon A. Simmons was laid to rest on Monday, February 1 at the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery, with full military rites.

Mayor Jon passed away on Wednesday, January 27 in his home. Simmons served as mayor for the last 12 years and operated an auction service across Southern Illinois since 1974.
