Terry Len Anderson

Terry Len Anderson was born September 1, 1957 in Lynwood, California.  He departed this life Thursday evening, September 17, 2020, at 6:25 PM at his home.  At the time of his passing, Terry was surrounded by members of his loving family.

Terry was the son of Thomas Len and Lelia Magdalene “Lee” (White) Anderson of Vienna.

In addition to his parents, Terry is survived by his brother – Robert DeWayne (Kathy) Anderson; a niece – Tammy Anderson (her fiancé Jason M. Smith) and daughter Breanna Brasher; a niece Emmalee (Jacob) McPheron and their children – Jasey, Micaiah, and Ellieana all of Vienna; 3 special aunts – Martha, Reda, and Weda; a host of dear friends and caregivers, including – Doris Throgmorton Miller, Bobby Throgmorton, Teri Sue Coscarelli, Scott Wright, Carl Brasher, Jennifer Wampler, Micheal Phillips, Dalton Browning, as well as the Mercy Health Hospice workers and many others.  Terry’s faithful canine companion, Copper, never left his side.

Terry was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents – Lenley and Nellie (Price) Anderson and maternal grandparents – Rev. Henry S. and Ethel (Puckett) White.

Terry worked as the manager of the former Lee’s Fashion World in Marion and was the owner of T.A.’s Tanning in Vienna.

Terry was a devoted Christian and always looked forward to the Bible Study that he hosted in his home.  Terry is well known for hosting an annual Easter Egg Hunt in his backyard for the children in the community.  Terry enjoyed fishing, boating, and playing chess.  He was an avid collector of unique items.  Terry was a proud member of the Vienna High School class of 1975 and enjoyed the special visits from his classmates.  He most of all enjoyed spending time with family, talking to people and telling stories.

At age 21, Terry was diagnosed with Friedreich Ataxia.  He was a true warrior as he battled this disease for over 42 years.  His faith and the loving care of his family and friends sustained him throughout this ordeal.

A graveside service honoring the life of Terry Len Anderson will be conducted Monday, September 21, 2020, at 10:30 AM at the Newton Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 12800 Ogden Landing Road, Kevil, Kentucky 42053.

There will be no public visitation.  Those attending the service are invited to gather at the cemetery at 10:15 AM Monday.
