Maxine Corzine, 94, of Karnak, passed away at 7:06 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at her daughter’s home in Central City, Kentucky.
Maxine was born November 14, 1924 in Karnak Illinois.
Maxine is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Allen) Harris of Central City, Kentucky ; grandsons, Ryan (Shontae) Harris of Danville, Illinois, Tyler (Kayla) Harris of Canton Georgia; great-grandchildren, Jentezen, Madison, Judah, Weston and Easton Harris; brothers and sisters, Huck (Lorenel Barham, Jerry (Geneva) Corzine, Velma Corzine, Geraldine Corzine and Laura Sykes.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life William; parents, Bon and Dora Beyke; brothers, Russell Collie, Willard Beyke and Marvin Beyke; sister, Erma Rimer.
Maxine and William Corzine were united in marriage September 3, 1949. She was a faithful member of the Karnak Pentecostal Church for over 60 years. She worked at Main Brothers when she was younger and then at Allied Chemical for 25 years doing payroll, a job she dearly loved. Maxine was a kind woman who was very friendly and love to talk to people and share stories of their lives. She loved her Lord, she loved her husband, her family, her church, her home and her hometown of Karnak. She was a special woman and will be missed by many.
Funeral services honoring the life of Mrs. Maxine Corzine will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the Karnak Pentecostal Church. Interment will follow at the Cypress Cemetery. Rev. Lonny Adams will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5 till 8 at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak and Tuesday Morning from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour at the church.
Special music will be performed by Geraldine Corzine, Tyler Harris and Shawn Stephens
Pallbearers will be Ryan Harris, Tyler Harris, Curtis Alfter, Steve Alfter, Jay Corzine & Marvin Carlton.
