Local 4-H collecting donations this month

Clever Clover’s 4-H Club will be teaming up with Napa in Vienna and will be collecting donations for the club to give back to the community and also help the youth learn the importance of working diligently.
During the month of May, there will be donation jars in the Vienna Napa store. The Clever Clovers will offer paper clovers to be signed and hung in the windows for the donors to show their support — and will also have a display that shows the customers and community the hard work and learning opportunities that their donations support.
The 4-H youth will have a stand at Napa on Saturday from 9 a.m.-noon to kick off the start of collections. At the stand, people will be able to find baked goods that have been made by the members of the club as well as information about its activities within the community.
The Clever Clover’s 4-H Club does many community service projects throughout each year to give back to the community that helps it grow new leaders.
A few of these services include: Angel Tree Child, Blessings in a Backpack, Teacher Appreciation Week gifts, monthly birthday treats for Hillview Nursing Home residents and birthday bags for use in the local food pantry.
