Tami Annette Martin was born Feb 15, 1960, the daughter of Ralph and Ruby (Porter) Martin. She passed away at her home in Willis, TX on Feb 28, 2019.
Tami spent her early years in Vienna, IL, attending the schools there, graduating from Vienna High School in 1978. The following year she attended Southern Illinois University where she learned the skill of a court reporter. After finishing her education, she moved to Houston, TX where she spent many years as an independent court reporter for that area.
Tami was married to Garry D. Adams on Jun 5, 1999 at Conroe, Texas. She leaves her husband and parents, along with a sister, Diane (Ed) Annable of Cypress and her younger sister, Kathy (Doug) Smith of Fort Pierce, FL. Tami also leaves several nieces and nephews as well as a long-time friends, Elaine and Andy Salazar, who became like a second family and with whom she spent many holidays.
As a testimonial of her faith, she was a true prayer warrior, her faith never failing during her battle with cancer. She was baptized at the First Baptist Church of Vienna on Sep 28, 1969. She and Garry attended the Mims Baptist Church at Conroe, TX where she enjoyed singing in the choir.
Tami loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed boating, horseback riding and cheering on the Houston Astros.
Burial was in the Conroe Memorial Park on Mar 6, 2019 with graveside services at 2:00 PM.
