Steve Casper, 70, of Perks, passed away at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at his home.
Steve was born May 28, 1948 in Perks. He was a graduate of Century High School in Ullin. Steve and Louise Messemore Casper were united in marriage on September 10, 1966. Steve was an avid outdoorsman, he was a member of the Midwest Trigg Fox Hunters Association and the Trigg National Fox Hunters Association.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Messemore Casper, son, John Casper of Perks, daughter, Becky Casper Lynn of Karnak, granddaughter, Payton Casper of Cobden, two grandsons, Dylan Lynn of Karnak and Brayden Casper of Perks, two great-grandsons, Jaxon and Giddeon Cobb of Cobden.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Clearn (Kat) and Cleta Churchill Casper, and a son-in-law Rick Lynn.
Graveside services honoring the life of Mr. Steve Casper will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Mount Olive Cemetery, rural Dongola. Pastor Enloe Clemons will be officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday morning from 10 a.m to 12:30 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak.
Pallbearers will be, Dylan Lynn, Brayden Casper, MJ Ethridge, Jeremy Cobb, Eric Earnhart and Brian Earnhart.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
