Tony was born June 20, 1960 in Gary, Indiana. He was the son of Jerry and Sue (Baity) Belden.
Tony was united in marriage to Marlene (Brumley) Belden on June 30, 2018 at the Ferne Clyffe State Park in Goreville. She survives.
Other survivors include; his mother- Sue (Tom Bagby) Cardinal of Grand Chain; 2 sons- Justin Belden of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Brad (Tara) Chapman of Vienna; a daughter- Mandy Brumley of Vienna; 3 grandchildren- Wyatt Krawczyk, Enola Chapman and Kenli Brumley; a sister- Beth Belden Tite of Vienna; 2 brothers- David (Toni) Eitleman of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Mike (Christie) Cardinal; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tony was preceded in death by his father.
Tony was a U.S. Army Veteran. Tony had been a truck driver for JRM Trucking Company.
Tony was on the Johnson County Pool League. In his spare time Tony enjoyed playing horse shoes, pool, dice and golf.
A service honoring the life of Tony Lane Belden will be conducted on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 2PM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Pastor Richard Swiney will officiate.
Burial will be at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be accorded by the Beggs-Gurley VFW Post #5222 as well as the Illinois National Guard Burial Honors Detail.
Visitation will be held from 12PM- 2PM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
