Boy Scouts collect food items for local charity

Local cub scouts and boy scouts from troop #41 collected 1,238 non-perishable food items Saturday morning. The scouts previously left blue plastic bags at people’s doors, and the participating residents collected items and replaced the bag on their doors to be picked up.

The scouts brought the items to the First Baptist Church in Vienna.
