VFW visits Vietnam Memorial in Perryville, Mo.

VFW District 15 members, members of their auxiliaries and a few guest recently traveled for an early preview of the new Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial, located just north of Perryville, Mo. off Route AC.

Once completed the memorial will feature a full-scale black granite model of the Vietnam Wall identical to the one in Washington, D.C.

A cemetery and scatter oak grove where loved ones can spread the remains of their veteran will be located on the grounds that spread over 46 acres.

A grand opening celebration for the Missouri National Veterans Memorial is set for May 2019. Visit www.mnvmfund.org to learn more about the memorial and explore opportunties to support their mission.
