Terry Lee Huckelberry, 63, of Terre Haute, passed away at 1:39 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, in Terra Haute Regional Hospital.
He retired after 22 years as a lieutenant with the Terra Haute Federal Prison; he also was the club manager for American Legion Post 104 for 11 years and CFI for seven years. He was born Aug. 25, 1955, in Vienna, IL, to William A. Huckelberry and Raye E. (Bellinger) Huckelberry.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, JoLynn Huckelberry; his mother, Faye Huckelberry; children, Jennifer Drake (Johnny), Chris Huckelberry (Rikki), and Erica Raley (Jeff); grandchildren, Devon, Zachery, and Nathan Drake; Mason Ray Huckelberry, Brooklyn, and Allison Raley; brothers, Steven Huckelberry, Curtis Huckelberry (Brenda), and Randy Huckelberry (Kellie); sisters, Barbara Bowman (Brad) and Tammy Teskey; brothers-in-law, Roy Webster and Phil Pickett; sisters-in-law, Regina Neynes and Tisha Pickett; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Connie Kester, Jimmie Dean, Charlie O, Gary Deal, Pam Hayes, Terry Fisher, Reba and Kenny Graham, Jack McCarty, Kenny, Linda Ladd, Joe Beal, and Dave Knight; and special pets, Misty, Dora, and Lucky.
Terry was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of the American Legion Post 104 and the 40&8. Military honors and a celebration of life were held at American Legion Post 104, 2690 Fort Harrison Road, Terre Haute, IN at 1 p.m.
