Sheriff’s Office reports rash of stolen equipment

On Sun., Sept. 16 and into early Mon., Sept. 17, it was reported to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department that a several ATV’s, UTV’s and trailers were missing within a mile of each other.

This area was close to U.S. 45, between I-24 and Tunnel Hill Road.

Sheriff’s Deputy Jon Gulley said, as on Tuesday afternoon, two ATV’s had been recovered. This included one four-wheeler and one side-by-side.

An eight by 10 pull-behind trailer is still missing, along with three UTV’s.

No suspects have been identified.

The Sheriff’s Department encourages all community members to keep their property secure, and document the VIN numbers and serial numbers of all equipment.
