Amber Dawn Agin

Amber Dawn Agin, age 20 years, a resident of New Burnside and a former resident of Vienna, passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening, July 5, 2018, at 9:30 PM near Creal Springs, Illinois.

Amber was born August 11, 1997 in Marion, Illinois. She was the daughter of Alan & Traci (Bates) Agin.

Amber is survived by: her mother – Traci Bates of Golconda; her father – Alan Agin of New Burnside; a sister – Kaitlyn (Cainon Glass) Agin of Harrisburg; a brother – Ryley Ragan of Golconda; grandparents – Pat Neal of Golconda, Cathy Agin of New Burnside, Rick (Leslea) Bates of Metropolis, and Denzil (Barb) Agin of Harrisburg; her fiancé – Jack Egan of Buncombe; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.

Amber was preceded in death by a grandfather – Alvin Neal.

Amber attended Vienna High School, where she served on the staff of the school newspaper, the Talon. She was a 2015 graduate of V.H.S.

Amber had worked as a cashier and in the fish and aquatic department at PetSmart in Paducah. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing video games, hiking and going on picnics with family and friends, reading and writing. Amber was a self-taught pianist.

A graveside service honoring the life of Amber Dawn Agin will be conducted Thursday evening, July 12, 2018, at 6 PM at Shedville Cemetery (89 Shedville Road) Golconda, Illinois. Rev. Justin Reynolds will officiate. Those attending the service are asked to gather at the cemetery at 5:45 PM Thursday.

There will be no visitation

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
