Veterans Memorial installed

Installation of the VFW’s new Veterans Memorial began Tuesday morning on the Vienna Library Lawn. The installation was completed this week with landscaping work when the ground dries. Pat Lamb oversaw the installation and helped set the black granite slabs that weigh about 3,300 pounds each. A dedication ceremony of the new memorial is planned for Memorial Day, May 29, 2017.
