Two Johnson County boys basketball teams heading to state at Rend Lake

The Vienna Rams and the Goreville Jr. Blackcats will travel to Rend Lake College this week to play in the Southern Illinois Junior High Atheletic Association Boys Basketball, Class M, State Tournament.

The Jr. Blackcats will face Joseph Arthur school Friday, Feb. 3, at 3:30 p.m. followed by the Rams competing against Smithton at 4:45.

Should both Johnson County schools win their quarter finals game they will face each other at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, in the semi finals.

The championship game is set for Friday, Feb. 10, at 7:30 p.m. at Rend Lake.
