Norma Jean Panuce, of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2016, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She was born December 22, 1933, the daughter of Bluford and Inez Allbritten, and lived her childhood years in Vienna, Illinois. She graduated from Augustana School of Nursing, and was a Registered Nurse at Lutheran General Hospital.
Norma Jean was the caring sister of Audrey (the late Dean) Canupp and the late Gerald Allbritten, sister-in-law of Sandy Panuce, and aunt of Betty Jean (Bo) Utley. She was the proud mother of Kimberlea (James) Kucharski and Keith (Nancy) Panuce, and was cherished by her grandchildren Matthew and Kyle Kucharski, and Nicholas, Hanna, and Noah Panuce.
Norma Jean will be remembered for her strong willed spirit, sharp-quick wit, and unique sense of humor. She leaves behind a legacy of courage and an enthusiasm for life for the generations that follow. Norma Jean will continue to inspire us all to be better people, and will forever remain in our hearts, smiles, and memories. She made a positive difference in our lives and will be truly missed.
