Omega “Mega” Hill Trexler, 77, a resident of Karnak, passed away at 8:08 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015 at her home.
Mega was born Sept 6, 1938 in Karnak. She was a graduate of Karnak High School, and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a devoted homemaker.
Mega is survived by her daughter, Charity Staton of Karnak; two grandsons, Cody Staton and Brandon Carnes; one great grandson, Aidan Carnes, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Dewey (Sam) Trexler; parents, John and Edna Smith Hill; four brothers, Tom, Steve, General and Melvin Hill; three sisters, Mildred Martin, Betty Henry and Katherine Hutchison.
Funeral services for Mrs. Omega “Mega” Hill Trexler will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak. Rev. Kenneth Capps will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Anderson Cemetery in the Boaz Community.
Visitation for Mega will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour of 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers serving will be Cody Staton, Brandon Carnes, Corey Marshall, Leroy Jackson, John Ford and James Eddington.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
