Shawnee Mass Transit District to hold open house

Shawnee Mass Transit District will have an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony of their new headquarters in Vienna, Illinois on Friday, Sept. 25. The celebration will be from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.

Shawnee MTD’s new headquarters is located within the Vienna Industrial Park at 100 Smart Dr., on the east edge of Vienna.

The public is invited to attend for tours of the $2.3 million state-of-the-art complex.

Shawnee MTD is a low-cost public transportation provider that serves residents in Alexander, Johnson, Massac, Pulaski and Union Counties.
