VGS competes at Class S state track meet in Herrin

On Saturday, May 9, ten athletes from Vienna Grade School’s track team qualified for and participated in the Class S State Track meet. They are pictured from L to R Front row:  Reagan Hill-4×400 relay, Haley Bundren-4×400 relay, Jalyn Moore-4×100 relay, Allie Reed-4×200 relay, and  Kyleigh Smith-7th 100m, 400m, 4×100 relay, and 4×400 relay.  Back row L to R Calissa Glass-4×200 relay, Jaiden Sanders-4×200 relay & 4×400 relay, Brendan Vaughn 8th 100m, 200m and 400m, Shanena Vinson-4×100 relay & 4×200 relay, and Valeria Botello-4×200 relay.  Brendan Vaughn placed 1st in the 200m, 2nd in the 400m, and 3rd in the 100m.  Kyleigh Smith placed 6th in the 7th grade 100m.
