Terry Dale Noble, age 57 years, a resident of Vienna, passed away Saturday morning, January 31, 2015 at 4:16 a.m. at his home.
Terry was born August 26, 1957 in Marion, Illinois. He was the son of T.A. and Betty (Cox) Noble.
Terry was formerly united in marriage to Audrey (Akins) Noble.
Terry is survived by: his mother – Betty Noble of Vienna; his children – LaDonna & Jason Gleason of Auburndale, Florida, Sabrina King & Devron McCloud, Sr. of Orlando, Florida and Anthony Noble of Winter Haven, Florida; 4 grandchildren – Tyler Gleason, Andrew Gleason, Kaitlyn King & Devron McCloud, Jr.; a brother – Ron Noble of Vienna; Uncle & Aunt – Clarence & Jean Cox of Vienna; nieces and nephews – Ron Noble, James Noble, Yvonne McAteer and Laura Noble Nelson; his former sister-in-law – Vicki Maynard Noble of La Porte, Indiana; dear friends – Lisa Simpson and Tommy Martinez; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, T.A. Noble.
Terry was a 1975 graduate of Vienna High School. He had also received certification in diesel mechanic repair. Terry had worked as a mechanic, a coal miner and later as an ironworker. More recently, Terry offered his services to the community as a computer repair technician.
Terry was a faithful and devoted Christian. He was baptized into the Christian faith at the First Baptist Church in Vienna. Terry attended many churches throughout the area and considered them all to be his “spiritual home.” Terry had a passion for service and encouragement. He was very actively involved in the Celebrate Recovery ministry. He was regarded by many as “the Paul of Celebrate Recovery” for his desire to plant celebrate recovery groups in various churches locally. He was also involved in a prison outreach ministry. Terry had also served as a member of the Egyptian Area Agency on Aging community advisory board.
Terry had many interests. He could teach himself to do just about anything he set his mind to do. Terry was an avid reader and is remembered as being a lifelong “learner.” Terry had a genuine love for people and touched many lives through his faith and personal ministry.
A Celebration of the Life of Terry Noble will be conducted Thursday afternoon, February 5, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Dr. Ed Hollis, Brother Tommy Martinez, and Brother Jason Forby will officiate. Burial will be in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery.
Visitation will be conducted from 4 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
