Louise Blasdel, 83, of Grand Chain, passed away at 9:22 a.m. Saturday morning, November 22, 2014 at her home.
Louise was a member of the Ohio Chapel United Methodist Church in Grand Chain, and she was a member of the Pulaski/Alexander County Homemakers Association.
Louise always enjoyed her weekly card game with her dear friends, Betty Lou Shumaker, June Badgley and Lynda Parker.
Louise and Max Blasdel were united in marriage December 31, 1951.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Ryan of Grand Chain and Donna (Ed Holhubner) of Sedalia, MO; one brother, Charles Mathis of San Jose, CA; two grandsons, Chris (Sarah) Holhubner of Vienna, Lucas (Melissa) Holhubner of Smithton, MO; one granddaughter, Betsy Ryan of Grand Chain; two great grand daughters, Lindsey Holhubner of Vienna, Jirah Holhubner of Smithton, MO; two great grandsons, Tommy Holhubner of Vienna and Jonas Holhubner of Smithton, MO.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Max Blasdel; her parents were Raymond and Mae Pope Mathis; one sister, Marsha Rose; one brother, Lloyd Mathis.
Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Blasdel will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak. Rev. Tammy Horn will officiate. Interment will follow in the Ohio Chapel Cemetery in Grand Chain.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 and Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
