Norma was born on January 24, 1925, in Mt. Vernon to Roger and Gladys (Burnett) Eastman. She married Bobbie Joe Durham in Mt. Vernon. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1996.
Norma loved hair and flowers, spending time in her yard. She enjoyed sporting events, the fall season and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children: Jane & David Runge of Goreville, Dodie Kline of Goreville and Brad Durham of Goreville; Grandchildren: Stacey Coonce, Julie Tripp, Garrett Runge and fiancé Dana Stewart, Jason & Ashley Kline, Josh & Jamie Kline and Bobbie Jo Kline; Great grandchildren: Kacey & Andy Whorton, Kaley Coonce, K.J. Coonce, Dayton Tripp, Brenni Jo Tripp, Josie Kline and Jayla Kline; Great-great grandchildren: Brady Whorton and Jase Whorton
She is also survived by two sisters: Margie & Harley Ward and Sue & Donnie Hancock; A sister-in-law: Sherri Durham. She also left behind her cat “Kitty Kitty” and beloved dogs “Charlie” and “RJ.”
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 11am at Goreville United Methodist Church with Rev. Ed Hoke and Rev. Doug Atkins officiating. Burial will follow at Cana Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville.
