Mrs. Turner was born on November 7, 1918 in Simpson to William and Bertha (Taylor) Murrie. She graduated from Vienna High School in Vienna. She worked for many years in Bluffton at Farling Finer Foods and Maloley’s Grocery Stores. An avid reader, Inez also enjoyed making ceramics and working puzzles.
She is survived by her son William Turner of Indianapolis along with very close friends; Donna Steffen and Rachel Grover, both of Bluffton.
She is preceded in death by her parents along with a brother Carl Murrie.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton, Ind.
Graveside services will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2014, at the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery in Vienna. Dr. Ed Hollis of the Vienna First Baptist Church will officiate.
