Jack Dennis Vinson – Obituary

Vinson ObitJack Dennis Vinson, 59, of Naples, FL., passed away on Monday, June 2nd, 2014, at home, with his family by his side.

He was born in Anna, IL., on July 27th, 1954. He married Suzanne (Susie) on April 1st, 1990, in Jacksonville, FL. Dennis (aka: Pecco) worked as a Tower Crane Operator in various locations. He came to Naples in 1989 to work for Joe Waters at Allied Crane for a short six month job and returned in 1990 for the remainder of his career. He was also a member of the IUOE union.

Dennis loved to be in his boat or on the water fishing, whether he was with his family, friends, or by himself. He also enjoyed hunting whenever was home in Illinois.

Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Jack; his mother, Virginia; and his brother, Bobby. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne (Susie); his son, David, of Greenriver, WY., by one grandchild, to be born in January, 2015; two sisters, Barbara Cummins (Bob) of Lake Placid, FL., and Janice Miles (Larry), of Herrin, IL. He is also survived by four nieces and four nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Ferne Clyffe State Park on Saturday June 14th at noon.
