New Simpson Hill Students Raise Money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital

New Simpson Hill held its annual St. Jude’s Bike-a-thon on Thursday, May 1. Students in grades 5-8 had an opportunity to raise money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and enjoy a beautiful day on the Tunnel Hill State Trail.

Students rode their bicycles from Tunnel Hill to the Vienna City Park and then back to Tunnel Hill.

The students raised over $2382.00 for the children at St. Jude’s this year.

As part of the bike-a-thon, NSH kindergarten class held a Trike-a-thon Friday morning. The eleven students participating raised and additional $660 for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Center.

New Simpson Hill administration would like to thank the individual donors for their support and to the parents and teachers that helped out and rode the trail during this event. Without their time and support this event would not be possible.
