William J. Kinkead, age 92 years, a resident of Vienna, IL, passed away Tuesday morning December 3, 2013 at 7:30 a.m. at the Hillview Health Care Center in Vienna.
Bill was born on April 19, 1921 in Chicago, IL. He was the son of James W. Kinkead and Emma V. (Seymour) Kinkead.
Bill was united in marriage to Patricia J. Warner on July 9, 1946 in Chicago, IL. She survives.
Bill was a graduate of St. Clement’s Grade School and Washburn Trade School both located in Chicago, IL .
Bill was a Machinist Toolmaker at Signode Corp. in Glenview, IL until retiring in 1975. He later worked at Tuck Tape in Carbondale, IL until retiring in 1987.
He was a former member of the Illinois National Guard and the Chain Gang Square Dance Club.
Bill was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church. He enjoyed square dancing, bicycling, bowling, ballroom dancing and Ukrainian Egg Decorating.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday morning, December 9, 2013, at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church in Vienna. Father Tom Barrett will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 9 – 10 a.m. at the church.
