Kenneth Dale Trovillion, age 76 years, a resident of West Frankfort, Illinois and a former resident of Johnson County Illinois, passed away Friday, December 13, 2013, at 11:45 AM at his home.
Kenneth was born May 23, 1937 in Flint, Michigan. He was the son of Ned Lowell Trovillion and Helen Jewel (Stockdale) Trovillion.
Kenneth was formerly united in marriage to Lois M. (Shaw). She survives.
Other survivors include: his sons – Kevin D. (Debbie) Trovillion of Clarksville, Tennessee and Kent D. (Ann) Trovillion of Hendersonville, Tennessee; two grandchildren – Kayla Trovillion and Justin Walker; a sister – Edna Walter of Vienna; three brothers – Larry, Danny Joe, and Lowell Trovillion all of Grantsburg; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Kenneth was a 1955 graduate of Vienna High School. He also graduated from Paducah Community College and attended Southern Illinois University.
Kenneth served in the U.S. Air Force. His employment included working as a dispatcher for Bonifield Brothers Truck Lines, Inc. as well as working in the accounting division of the Franklin-Williamson County Department of Mental Health.
Kenneth was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason. He was a member and Past Master of Frankfort Masonic Lodge # 567 AF&AM, serving as lodge secretary from 1997-2003. Kenneth was a former member of the Kiwanis Club. He was presently serving as the President of the Franklin County Mosquito Control Board.
Kenneth was of the Baptist faith.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will be at a later date in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery.
