Extreme Kids on the Kitchen Camp

IMG_7219fullThe University of Illinois Extension office in Vienna hosted a seven-day Extreme Kids in the Kitchen Cooking Camp recently. Sixteen children, ages 8-12, participated. The students graduated the camp on July 25. During the camp, participants learned much about nutrition, recipes, shopping, label reading, food safety, cooking and more, including preparing and serving an evening meal.
