Jason William Ross, 35, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Aurora. Born in Joliet and a lifelong resident. A graduate of Plainfield High School. Jason loved animals and enjoyed fishing, exercising and walking. He was an avid video “gamer” and country and gospel music were his passion.
Survived are his loving parents, William Ronald and Barbara Grace (nee Harris) Ross of Joliet; his three sisters, Kimberly Ann (Spero) Ventsias of Joliet, Karen Michelle (John) Huddlestun of Diamond and Julie LeAnn (David) Stout of Joliet; nieces and nephews, David Glenn and Renee, Rachael Ann and Elizabeth Kate Ventsias; John Mitchell, Jessica Grace, Rebecca Ann, Andrew Joseph, Kara Michelle and the late Ivan Ross Huddlestun; Abbygail Rain, Kailee Brianne, Delaynie Payton, Draven Michael and Paisley Grace Stout.
Preceded by maternal grandparents, Jasper Dewey and Grace Angeline (nee Simmons) Harris; paternal grandparents, William Frank and Vivian C. (Craig) Ross, all from Tunnel Hill, IL; and his nephew, Ivan Ross Huddlestun.
Visitation for Jason William Ross will be Friday, May 24, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. A second visitation will take place at the Bailey Funeral Home, 705 N. First Street, Vienna, IL 62995 on Monday, May 27, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 Noon. Rev. Carl “Dink” Phelps officiating. Interment will be in the Webb Cemetery near Tunnel Hill, IL.
