Lillian Pauline (Ford) Colboth – Obituary

Lillian Pauline (Ford) Colboth, 90, a resident of rural Tunnel Hill, Illinois, passed away Friday morning April 12, 2013 at 9:48 a.m. at her home.

Pauline was born March 26, 1923 in the Parker City community (Johnson County) Illinois.  She was the second child of Roy Alvis Ford & Amanda (Deason) Ford.

Pauline is survived by her children; Ann Evans of Vienna, IL, David Colboth of Creal Springs, IL, Jerry (Lora) Colboth of Tunnel Hill, IL, Lora (Jim) Goddard of Tunnel Hill, IL and Lena (Scott) Geringer of Cape Girardeau, MO. Twelve grandchildren;  Mike, Chuck, & Steve Colboth, Allen Colboth, Sandy Duke, Ashley Crippen, Tracy Williams, Sam Goddard, Tiffney Faulkner, Chasity Schroeder, Amanda Statler and Tillie Hebbler. 24 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Roy A. Ford and Amanda (Deason) Ford Harper; a Daughter – Barbara Crippen; 2 Grandsons – Matt Crippen and Jimmy Crippen; a Great Grandson – Jordan Colboth; 2 Sisters and 6 Brothers.

Pauline was a homemaker.  She had also worked for over 20 years as a seamstress for Smoller Brother’s manufacturing in Herrin, IL.  Pauline was of the Christian faith.  She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and raising chickens.  Pauline cherished time spent with her family and many friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at 11 AM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Pastor Robert Schierbaum will officiate.

Visitation will be from 5 PM – 8 PM Monday, April 15, 2013, at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Burial will be in the Woodside Cemetery near Tunnel Hill.
