Bobby Palmer, a resident of Olmsted, Illinois, passed away Saturday afternoon, December 1, 2012, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend that will be greatly missed.
He is survived by: His fiancé – Judy Gray; Sons – James Palmer and Jeremy Palmer; Daughters – Shelby Rodgers, Jessica & Dana Hutman, Sky Palmer and Kenny Watson; his Mother – Erma Palmer; Brothers – Phillip Palmer and Larry Palmer; a Sister – Anita Reynoso; Grandkids, Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his Father – James Leon Palmer, his wife – Dianna Palmer; and Sisters – Debbie Murphy and Kay Palmer.
Bobby had been employed as a roofer and handyman. He was a “jack-of-all-trades.” Bobby was an avid outdoorsman. He loved camping, fishing, and playing the harmonica.
Bobby was of the Christian faith and had formerly served as a board member for the Bald Knob Cross.
A Celebration of the Life of Bobby Palmer will be held Wednesday afternoon, December 5, 2012, at 12:30 p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Pastor Brian Duncan will officiate. Burial will be in the Gilead Cemetery, near Simpson, IL. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
