Clara Louise Kerley

Clara Louise Kerley, age 79 years, a resident of Vienna, Illinois, passed away Monday evening, November 26, 2012, at 9:25 p.m. at her home.

Louise was born May 5, 1933 in Johnson County, Illinois. She was the daughter of Elmer Lewis & Mary (Kerley) Baker.

Louise was united in marriage to Thomas Dale Kerley on June 11, 1955 in Peoria, Illinois. He preceded her in death on March 21, 2012.

In addition to her parents and husband, Louise was preceded in death by:

Louise had worked as an in-home health care provider and had formerly been employed at the Good Luck Glove Factory in Vienna.

She was of the Baptist Faith. Louise was a member of the Amvets. She enjoyed reading, completing word search puzzles and making embroidered hand crafts. Louise also created magnetic figurines and woven pot holders.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning, November 30, 2012, at 11:30 AM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Louise’s nephew, Rev. Deon Newton will officiate.

Burial will be in the Kerley Cemetery in the Flatwoods community.

Visitation will be from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM Friday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
