The 12th annual New Simpson Hill Girls Round Robin Tournament was held October 10th through the 13th. Five schools participated in the tournament that included, Cypress/Buncombe, Jefferson, New Simpson Hill, Pope County, and Vienna.
The Cypress/Buncombe Lady Cats finished the tournament with a 4-0 record and won first place honors. The Jefferson Lady Bobcats took second place and Vienna Lady Rams finished third.
The all tourney team was named after the tournament was completed and consisted of one player from each participating school.
The all tourney team consisted of Haleigh Keeling of Cypress/Buncumbe, Natalie Hosman of Jefferson, Lindsey Holhubner of New Simpson Hill, Madison Murphy of Pope County, and Adrienne Bullock of Vienna.
This year’s tournament MVP went to Natalie Hosman of Jefferson.
New Simpson Hill would like to thank all the schools for their participation in this year’s tournament, and would like to thank the fans, players, and coaches for their show of sportsmanship.
