Two Vienna Eagles named All-South

Two members of the Vienna High School girl’s basketball squad have received post-season recognition by being named to the 2011-2012 SICA Class 2A All-South team.

Junior Carley Childress led the Lady Eagles in scoring with 469 points and surpassed the 1,000 point mark for her career. She also was named Black Diamond East MVP.

Sophomore Maranda Chance led Vienna in steals with 127 and was second in scoring and assists. She was chosen for the Black Diamond East first team and was selected as MVP of the Marion tournament.
