New Simpson Hill students raise money for St. Jude’s

New Simpson Hill held its annual St. Jude’s Bike-a-thon on May 10, 2017.  Students in grades 5-8 had an opportunity to raise money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and enjoy a beautiful day on the Tunnel Hill State Trail.

Students rode their bicycles from Tunnel Hill to the Vienna City Park and then back to Tunnel Hill.

The students raised over $2737.00 for the children at St. Jude’s this year.

New Simpson Hill would like to thank the following area businesses and individuals that donated towards the bike-a-thon:  H&H Pest Control, Lisa Webb, Ron Johnson Trucking, New Simpson Hill School #32,  New Simpson Hill Education Association, Bernie Mundorf LLC, Bobell CPA, Tri-State Business Equipment, New Simpson Hill 8th Grade Class, New Simpson Hill 3rd Grade Class, Bob Harper Ford and Little Egypt Trophy and the Girls Scout Troop #8977.

New Simpson Hill administration would like to thank the individual donors for their support and to the parents and teachers that helped out and rode the trail during this event. Without their time and support this event would not be possible.
