Hunsaker Light Show begins Thanksgiving Day

The annual Hunsaker Light Show is scheduled to run every evening from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. beginning Thanksgiving Day (weather permitting).

On Saturday, Dec. 3, Santa will arrive at 5:30 p.m. to celebrate the season. The public is invited to come see Santa, share a cup of hot chocolate and take pictures.

There is a mailbox this year for children’s letters to Santa and they will be collecting non-perishable food items for the First Baptist Church Food Pantry.

Monetary donations will be accepted to assist the Family Counseling Center’s Angel Tree and Holiday fund.

For those who are not familiar with the lights, they are located on the corner of 614 Nth 5th Street in Vienna.

Eagle Drive will be blocked off for the safety of the visitors.

This will celebrate their fifth year for the lighting display and each year, more are added.

This year, they have exceeded 25,000 lights. New songs and displays have been added and now, they have extended to the property across the street on Eagle Drive.

Don’t forget to set the radio station to 96.3 to listen to the music while viewing the scenes.
