Chester L. Cagle, 92, of Paducah, and formerly of Vienna, died at 3:12 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, at the Baptist Health Care of Paducah.
He was a native of Buncombe. He worked for the Vienna Correctional Center for 32 years, and was a member of the Victory Assembly Church of Paducah.
Surviving is his wife, Marjean Berry Cagle; one daughter, Susan Cagle of Kentucky; two sons, Steven Cagle and Charles Cagle, both of Illinois; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Monty Cagle and Sara Black Cagle; one son, Michael Cagle; one brother; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2016, at the Keeling Family Funeral Home, 2410 Jackson Street, Paducah, Ky. 42003, with the Rev. Gary DeRossett officiating. A private burial will take place after the service in Vienna.
Friends can visit with the family from 5 p.m. till 7 p.m. Thursday, today, at the funeral home.
