Mark Kleckler, age 48 years, a resident of Vienna, passed away unexpectedly Thursday afternoon, July 28, 2016, at 5:14 PM near Ozark.
Mark was born May 28, 1968 in Flint, Michigan. He was the son of Louis Kleckler and Pauline (Trovillion) Kleckler.
Mark is survived by: his mother – Pauline Kleckler of Vienna; his children – Karli Jo Kleckler of Tunnel Hill and Wesley Greer of Simpson; a sister – Tracy (her husband, John) Freel of Grand Blanc, Michigan; a brother – Mike Smith of Wyoming; 2 nephews – Ethan and Wes; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
Mark was preceded in death by his father.
Mark was a 1986 graduate of Vienna High School. He attended Fort Scott Community College in Kansas on a rodeo scholarship and also attended Murray State University.
Mark had a lifelong passion for horses. He was a talented horse trainer and farrier. Mark was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.
Mark attended the Ozark United Pentecostal Church.
A gathering of family and friends honoring the life of Mark Kleckler will be conducted Monday evening, August 1, 2016, from 5 PM – 8 PM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
