Justin Lee Eddington, age 32, of rural Golconda, IL passed away February 29, 2016, at his home.
Justin was born October 30, 1983, to Rick and Gina (Walker) Eddington in Harrisburg, Illinois.
He was a member of Golconda Masonic Lodge No. 131 AF&AM. He had worked in the coal mines, and on tow boats.
Justin was currently a self-employed drywall finisher. He had volunteered for Pope County ESDA Search & Rescue and for the fire department. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, camping, and family gatherings.
Justin is survived by, three sons, Jackson Lee, Ashton Lee and Andrew Eugene; daughters Anastacia Marie and Jennifer Lawson; parents, Rick and Gina Eddington; brother, Ricky and wife Amanda Eddington; grandparents, Virgil (Jo) Eddington and Eugene Walker; nephew Noah Matthew; niece Emma Grace; aunts and uncles Beverly (Kirk) Baugher, Victor English, Rita (Greg) Dunning, Derrell (Kathy) Walker, Chris (Tonya) Walker, Jesse (Stacy) Taylor, Paul Rhymer; numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by two grandmothers, Loris Walker and Irene Burnham; two aunts, Helen English Colson and Linda Rhymer.
Visitation for Justin Eddington will be from 11:00 a.m.- 1: p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville. Masonic service will begin at 1 p.m. with funeral service to follow.
Interment will follow services at the Walker Cemetery near Golconda. Pastor Matthew Wright will conduct the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Rick Eddington, C/O Aly Funeral Home PO Box 69, Eddyville, IL 62928 to be used to establish a trust for Justin’s children.
