Gary “Bud” Nalley – Obituary

Gary “Bud” Nalley of rural Belknap in Massac County, formerly of Olmsted, passed away at 8:45 am Friday, February 26, 2016 at his home.

Bud was born may 11, 1943 in Ullin, Ill. He was retired, having worked for many years as a self-employed carpenter, and also had been a logger for Cheyenne Valley Timber Company.

He is survived by one son, Chad and Rita Nalley of Metropolis; three sisters, Gail and James Fuhr of Mounds, Peggy Barnes of Olmsted and Betty and Richard Bellamy of Lincoln, Missouri; one granddaughter, Summer Nalley and one grandson, Tucker Nalley both of Metropolis.

Bud was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Brown Nalley; mother and father, Raymond and Anna Lynn Nalley.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Gary “Bud” Nalley will be at 2:00 pm Monday, February 29, 2016 at the Anna City Cemetery.  Rev. Gerell Cain will be officiating.  Pallbearers serving will be Chad Nalley, Roger Barnes, Blake Crane, Lynnie Crane, Jim Fuhr, Clint Barnes and Heidee Barnes.  Family and friend have been asked to meet at the cemetery.  Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak has been entrusted with the arrangements.  To leave an on-line message with the family, please visit our website at www.wilsonfuneralhome1928.com
