Larry Gene Littleton, Jr., age 35 years, a resident of New Burnside, passed away Monday morning, December 21, 2015, at 12:55 a.m. at his home.
Larry was born January 24, 1980 in Jackson, Tennessee. He was the son of Larry G. and Carleen Sue (Green) Littleton.
Larry was formerly united in marriage to Melinda Mercer.
Larry is survived by: his son – Larry G. Littleton, III of Marion; a sister – Karrie R. Littleton of Creal Springs; a brother – Michael (Angie) Hazelwood of Harrisburg; his stepfather – Bryan L. Cross of Vienna; nephews – Allen Dunning of Harrisburg, Calvin Horney of Cypress, and Bryant Cochran of Creal Springs; as well as many dear friends, including – Tim & Raven Hill of Creal Springs and Zeb & Batina Bowles of Ozark.
Larry was preceded in death by his father – Larry G. Littleton; his mother – Carleen Sue Cross; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and dear friends – Nathan Champion and Bradley Funk.
Larry had worked as a farm hand. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Larry also enjoyed music and playing the guitar. Larry will be fondly remembered for his outgoing personality and his desire to be of help to others. He was of the Christian faith.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday evening, January 8, 2016, at 7 p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Private inurnment will be at a later date in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2016, at Bailey Funeral Home.
