She was born on October 24, 1924 in Watseka, the daughter of William Sapp and Alta (McClanhan) Sapp. Stella married Everett Williams on May 20, 1942. He has since passed.
Mrs. Williams was a factory worker for 47 years, working at TRW and Little Fuse. She was a member of the Watseka V.F.W. Lady Auxiliary and enjoyed collecting cook books, cooking, selling baking goods & produce at the Farmer’s Market.
Stella also enjoyed family and her grandchildren.
Surviving Mrs. Williams is one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Sharon Williams of Vienna, IL; one daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Leon Clatterbuck of Simpson, IL; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by both parents; husband, Everett Williams; one daughter, Karen Decker; and 3 sisters.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka. Pastor Marty Schonleber will officiate.
Burial will follow at GAR Cemetery in Watseka.
