Another successful Junk Jamboree held in Vienna

By Mike Kolb
Johnson County hosted its semi-annual Junk Jamboree this past Saturday, April 19. Vendors and bargain hunters alike traveled from all over the region to the courthouse square in Vienna.
One vendor traveled over two hundred miles from Roodhouse.

Bargain shoppers were able to find everything from used books and clothing to custom made furniture. Items like old horseshoes were sold to hobbyist who had imaginative new uses for them. A set of wooden shutters will soon be table legs for a patio table.

The jamboree has grown each time and that trend looks to continue when the next one is held this fall.
