William “Bill” Larrison, age 81, a resident of rural Belknap, passed away Monday August 4, 2014, at 12:25 p.m. at his home.
Bill was born October 7, 1932 in the Wetaug community. He was the son of Tom and Helen (Doane) Larrison.
On April 7, 1982, Bill was united in marriage to Alice M. (Eastwood) at Belknap. She survives.
Other survivors include: 2 sons – Jeff Larrison of Jackson, Missouri and John (Aubrey) Larrison of Belknap; 2 granddaughters – Jasmine and Jennifer; 2 sisters – Evelyn Burnett of Metropolis and Flora Vaughn of Belknap; and a brother – Walter “Bud” (Erma) Larrison of Mesa, Arizona.
Additionally, Bill was anticipating the birth of a grandson in December.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a brother.
Bill is remembered for those who knew him as a “jack-of-all-trades.” He was skilled and talented in a variety of trades, including welding, concrete finishing, plumbing, excavating and timber cutting.
Bill was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services will be held Friday evening, August 8, 2014, at 8 PM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Pastor Keith Rankin will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
