Brian Lee Schuetz – Obituary

Brian SchuetzBrian Lee Schuetz, 44, of Goreville, passed away at 6:27pm in Princeton, Kentucky doing what he loved, driving his truck.

Brian was born January 3, 1969 in Marion to Homer and Barbara (Girtman) Schuetz. He married Lynn Loyd on December 4, 1993 at Arnold View Freewill Baptist Church in Crab Orchard.  She survives of Goreville.

Brian loved spending time with his kids, watching sports and trucking. He had many awards showing his horse Champ. Brian loved to entertain his nieces and nephews with ghost stories. He liked to draw and enjoyed leatherwork and always greeted everyone with a big hello and a smile.  Brian was a member of Busby Chapel Church, Owner/Operator Independent Drivers Association and the 4H Club. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend and will be deeply missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernie and Hazel Girtman and Homer Schuetz Sr. and Helen Schuetz.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 2pm at Busby Chapel Church in Goreville with Rev. Kenny Blumenstock and Rev. Dale Billingsley officiating.  Burial will follow at Busby Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, December 16, 2013 at Busby Chapel Church in Goreville. Blue Funeral Home in Goreville is handling arrangements.
