The El Lobo Saddle Club of Saline County hosted its 1st Annual Charity Poker Run to benefit the American Cancer Society on Wednesday, July 31st at the 9-Day Trail Ride in Golconda. Organizers of the “Let’s Ride Cancer Out” Event, Laraine and Bonnie Love were very excited with the success of this first year event. The Loves, along with many members of the El Lobo Saddle Club, including Lacy Bradley, Brad Buckman, and Ruthie Hart, partnered with J.D. Mathis, 9-Day Trail Ride President, hoping to create an annual event that will grow every year and change the lives of many people in the fight against cancer.

For more information about this event or to make a donation, please contact Laraine Love at laraine93@siu.edu.
