UCH shows new MRI machine

UCH-radiologyPete Wories, Director of Radiology with Union County Hospital, recently spoke to the UCH Senior Circle Program during a monthly luncheon.  Wories shared with the group some information about the new MRI unit that is now installed in the hospital.  Finishing touches to the building structure housing the new unit are still underway.  He also brought some new equipment to show the members.  This included a new additional ultrasound machine, to be used to expand the hospital’s echo-cardiogram capabilities, along with a C-arm, which is a mobile fluoroscopy unit and is used for surgical cases, pain management treatments and a variety of other medical procedures.  Pictured with the two new units are Wories along with Senior Circle members Marilyn Belcher and Mary Ann and George Chenoweth.
