Louise Hight Zolper, 74, a resident of Vienna, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012, at 7:26 a.m. at the Hillview Health Care Center in Vienna.
Louise was born December 26, 1937 in Vienna Township, Johnson County. She was the daughter of William and Rilla (Griffitt) Hight.
Louise was united in marriage to Richard Zolper on June 7, 1985 in Geneva. He preceded her in death on September 26, 2010.
Survivors include two stepsons, James (Anna) Zolper and Kenneth (Jennifer) Zolper, grandsons Christopher Zolper and Richard Zolper, a sister, Myrtle Choate of Vienna and a sister-in-law, Anna Hight.
She is also survived by nephews; Larry (Dianna) Choate, Terry Choate, Jerry Hight and Thomas (Sabine) Hight; nieces, Karen Choate, Nancy (Jackie) Wright, Mary Voss and Sandra Choate.
In addition to her parents and husband, three brothers – Walton, William and Robert Hight; one sister, Rose Mary Hight; a special niece, Sandra Hight and a special nephew, Donald Choate, preceded Louise in death.
Louise was a 1954 graduate of Vienna High School. She was employed as a medical assistant and office manager in a physician’s office in St. Charles, Illinois for 35 years. Following their retirement, Richard and Louise moved back to Johnson County and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
In accordance with Louise’s wishes, there will be no public services.
