Football season just around the corner

Preparations are now underway for the Vienna-Goreville fall football season in Johnson County. V-G’s first practice will be August 8. The squad will open its season Saturday, August 25, with a home game against Chester. Kick-off is set for 1:00 p.m.
The Eagles’ head coach Mike Rude (above) demostrated several manuvors to potential linemen and linebackers Monday during a defensive camp being held this week.
A complete team camp is scheduled for July 23-27, from 6 – 8 p.m. each evening.
